As well as having a Health and Safety Director, Fire Management Ltd employ an external Health and Safety Consultant who is directly responsible for all matters relating to health and safety. They will visit our sites and office on a contracted basis to report on all matters affecting the health, safety and welfare of employees, clients and the public.
All of FML's operatives have CSCS cards and NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection. Other training includes:
- Asbestos Awareness
- Manual Handling
- CITB Towers
- Harness Training
- Ladders and Podium Training
- Hilti DX/GX
- First Aid

We also ensure that our Managers have 5 day SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificates and Level 3 NVQ in Site Management. Our Supervisors all have 2 day Site Safety Course certificates.
FML also have arrangements in place for Health Screening our employees either prior to or during employment and we are a member of CHAS (Contractor Health and Safety Scheme) an independently audited programme designed to bring best practice models to contractors and their procedures.
